Process Industries

Valve automation built for lines that can’t afford downtime.

Process plants run continuous lines where a stuck valve stops production. We supply and spec pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves and automated process valves sized to the actual duty - media, pressure, cycle frequency and fail-safe requirement - not a one-size catalogue pick.

Process industries - chemical processing, pharma intermediates, food & beverage and general manufacturing - depend on valve automation for dosing accuracy, line isolation and steam control across continuous runs.

We supply the automation package end to end: rotary or linear pneumatic actuators, the ball or butterfly valve body, the solenoid valve that pilots it, and the limit switch that confirms position back to the control room - sized as one matched system rather than components bought separately.

Where these get used

Application areaTypical duty
Dosing & batching linesFrequent on-off cycling, tight shut-off on air, water, oil, gas or chemicals
Isolation valvesBall and butterfly valves with rotary actuators for remote on-off duty
Steam serviceControl valves sized for saturated or superheated steam applications
Actuator feedbackLimit switch boxes for open/close position confirmation to the control room

Frequently asked

What determines whether a process valve needs a double-acting or spring-return actuator?

The fail-safe requirement. If the process must default to a safe on-off position on air-supply loss, a single-acting spring-return actuator is specified. If position doesn’t matter on air loss, double-acting is usually the more economical choice.

Can you match an existing installed actuator brand?

Yes - send the nameplate details or a photo and we’ll match on ISO 5211 mounting, torque and port pattern, either genuine or a matched equivalent.

Have a spec for this application?

Send it over - we size to torque, media and fail-safe duty, and target a quote inside 24 hours.
